It is a city that had tragically fallen into ruins yet had an inspiring history of resistance at its core. Mualla (she/her) dies a thousand deaths and always ends up in hamam, where she reborns. Quite literally, she undergoes a cycle of death and rebirth. The scars on her body bear witness to past injuries. However, this time, the unfolding events are so agonizing that she resolves never to leave the hamam again.

This devised piece by KaST explores themes of truth, freedom, and courage through physical theatre and symbolic storytelling. As a creative performer, I used expressive movement and improvisation to interpret these themes alongside a talented ensemble, offering audiences an engaging experience.
